Grand Teton National Park Day 11 of vacation and day 7 in RV
Hi all,
Fun travels today along the Grand Teton Loop. We stopped at Jenny Lake for a boat ride and trek to Hidden Falls and then Inspiration Point. The sights were outstanding again! We have a great tour guide with us. Sarah hooked us up with an app called Guide Along and we listen to tips and the history of where we are in our travels. It is linked via a GPS knowing our location and we hear all about the area with our very own virtual tour guide. It is a wonderful tool to travel with and we love the spotlights on specific areas.
Each national or state park has something unique about it so far. Pictured Rocks has the beauty of miles of sedimentary rock formations and waterfall. Copper Falls state park has amazing waterfalls and scenic hiking trails. The Badlands National Park has 90 miles of this wall of buttes that go on forever. Custer State Park has an abundance of wildlife and picturesque terrain. Mount Rushmore National Monument was very inspirational with the 4 presidents and their contributions to our country. Grand Teton National Park has amazing snow covered mountains jutting up from the valley in Jackson Hole.
