Glacier National Park Day 16
Well, what a few busy days at Glacier National Park! We had a blast and drove the Going-To-The-Sun Road over the Continental Divide! We started the morning with an informative hour boat tour on Lake McDonald. The sights were beautiful in the morning sun and the lodge itself was an old log constructed building overlooking Lake McDonald. We then drove to Logan Pass and the Continental Divide where we hiked about 3 miles to Hidden Lake. We saw mountain goats and big horn sheep as well as some little picas and marmots. Oh what a great hike with the gang.
We then traveled down the other side of the divide to the Duck Lake Lodge where we bunked for the evening. We also had a tasty dinner at the Two Sister Cafe owned by no other than the 2 sisters Susan and Beth! Carol has 2 sisters - hmmm, wonder if they started a new business. Hope you are enjoying our adventures!
